What if Airbnb, the platform known for connecting traveler's with unique stays, embraced a new horizon and ventured into the world of food and groceries?

How it looked like if airbnb delivered food and groceries?
I designed an app for airbnb to deliver grocery and food.
This project includes redesigning visual elements to transform airbnb into quick delivery service like blink-it, zepto, ensuring the essence and design language of airbnb are retained.
Airbnb Features
As of my last update in January 2022, Airbnb's key features include property listings, search and booking functionalities, host profiles, a review system, messaging capabilities, wish lists, experiences and activities, the Super host program, various cancellation policies, a Host Guarantee for property protection, and a Resolution Center for issue resolution.
New Logo
Th design rationale behind this logo is the arrow which is tilted and placed at the right side shows forward direction and with the small horizontal lines shows the the fast movement. This together combines the idea of fast delivery, with an essence of fast movement.
Color & Typography & Icons
Improvement Opportunities
Apart from Food and Grocery delivery the app also consist of these new features which are acquired from the airbnb app.
Book for Later Option:
Users can choose a book for later option suppose if any item will go out of stock and you want to book it for later.
Cancellation Option:
Users can cancel the order within a timeframe which is a new feature.
Restaurant Bookings:
Users can pre book tables at restaurants from the app.
Local Experiences:
Airbnb could incorporate local food experiences, people can buy from small food business and home kitchens.

Home screen where user can see different categories of items, offers, current address , search bar and menu bar.
Grocery
Grocery flow from selection of item to checkout with an added option of book for later and schedule the delivery for a specifc day and time.

Ordering food flow where you can get every restaurants from your locality to purchase from.
Reserve
Now you can reserve seats in restaurants through the app
Utensils
You can buy daily household items also from the app.
